Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Cost Accountant to support global cost and inventory accounting. The role includes analyzing production cost variances, processing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with Singapore tax regulations. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant costing experience, and knowledge of Oracle systems is advantageous. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in manufacturing costing and general accounting.
  • Effective communication and a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated with good teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support global cost and inventory accounting functions.
  • Analyze production cost variances and reconcile inventory.
  • Process accounts payable invoices with correct GL coding.
  • Assist in month-end closings through journal entries.
  • Support quarterly GST submissions and annual audit preparations.
