As the Accountant, you will be an integral member of the Finance team to support the financial operations of 2 entities. - Manage and maintain Accounts Payable processes, including vendor payments and reconciliations
- Responsible for General Ledger activities, including journal entries, month-end closings, and financial schedules
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accurate reporting across entities
- Support the preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Assist with statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
- Contribute to process improvements in AP and GL functions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of relevant accounting knowledge
- Experience in managing AP, GL and GST preparation independently
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
