Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineerwith specialized experience in Marine & Reclamation project management and technology. This role is critical in providing technical expertise to support our Market Development and Project Management initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to winning new business and ensuring the successful technical delivery of complex coastal and reclamation projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support for Market Development

• ØAssist the business development teams by providing technical input for proposals, tenders, and client presentations related to marine and reclamation projects.
• ØParticipate in client meetings and site visits to understand project needs and articulate technical solutions.
• ØContribute to feasibility studies, preliminary designs, and cost estimations for new project opportunities.

2. Project Engineering & Delivery Support

• ØProvide engineering design, analysis, and technical oversight for marine structures (e.g., seawalls, breakwaters, jetties) and land reclamation projects.
• ØPrepare and review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• ØSupport project managers in planning, coordination, and monitoring of project phases (design, procurement, construction, supervision).
• ØConduct site inspections and liaise with contractors to ensure works adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

3. Design & Analysis

• ØPerform engineering analyses related to coastal processes, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, geotechnical stability, and foundation design for reclamation areas.
• ØUtilize engineering software for modeling and design tasks.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• ØEnsure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant national and international codes, standards, and environmental guidelines.
• ØMaintain accurate project documentation and assist in the preparation of progress and final reports.

5. Collaboration

• ØWork closely with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, planning).

Requirements

1. Education & Certification

• ØBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a directly related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
• ØProgress towards or holding a relevant professional engineering license/certification (e.g., EIT, PE, or international equivalent) is preferred.

2. Experience

• ØMinimum of 5 years of direct hands-on experience in the engineering design and/or project delivery of marine and reclamation projects.
• ØDemonstrated involvement in at least one major land reclamation project is highly desirable.
• ØExperience in a consulting or contractor environment is preferred.

3. Technical Skills

• ØSolid understanding of marine and reclamation engineering principles, including dredging, ground improvement, coastal protection, and marine structures.
• ØProficiency with relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS tools, hydrodynamic or geotechnical modeling software).
• ØFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologies.
