Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager with a strong background in Marine and reclamation Engineering management and technology to support our Market Development and Project Management functions. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and leadership skills to drive business growth, ensure project excellence, and contribute to the strategic expansion of our engineering services.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):
  • Market Development Support:
    • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue new opportunities in the Marine and reclamation sectors.
    • Provide technical expertise during client meetings, proposals, and contract negotiations.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Project Management & Technical Oversight:
    • Lead and manage Marine and reclamation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
    • Oversee design, planning, and execution of Marine and reclamation works (e.g., ports, waterways, coastal protection, drainage systems).
    • Conduct risk assessments, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers and project staff.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) to achieve project goals.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as a key technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and implement best practices in engineering management and project delivery.
    • Contribute to the development of company standards, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Education & Certification:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of combined experience in marine and/or reclamation engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
    • Proven track record in managing engineering projects from feasibility to handover.
    • Experience supporting business development, proposal writing, or client engagement in the engineering sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of marine and reclamation engineering principles, design standards, and construction methods.
    • Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling tools) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Soft Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional language skills are a plus).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
    • Strategic mindset with a focus on business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Other:
    • Willingness to travel as needed for project sites, client meetings, or business development activities.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the required region/country.
