Project cum Account Executive (Shipbuilding)
Job scope
Project Management:
Assist in coordinating and managing day-to-day project activities in the shipbuilding process.
Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Prepare and maintain project schedules and report project status to senior management.
Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines while managing any changes or risks that arise during the project lifecycle.
Assist in the procurement process by tracking material deliveries, project requirements, and maintaining supplier relationships.
Accounting & Finance:
Oversee project-related financial activities, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cost reports for ongoing projects.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that invoices are accurate, and payments are processed in a timely manner.
Work closely with the finance team to reconcile project-related financial discrepancies and resolve any issues.
Monitor the financial performance of projects, identifying areas for cost savings or process improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and shipbuilding industry regulations.
General Administration:
Support project managers in day-to-day operations and tasks related to project execution.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant project files.
Prepare and assist in the creation of project proposals, budgets, and forecasts.
Provide administrative support to the senior management team as needed.
