Job summary
A prominent hospital in Singapore is seeking a Principal Clinical Psychologist to lead psychological services. The role includes providing individual and group therapy, conducting psychometric assessments, and supervising clinical psychology students. Candidates are expected to have a Master's degree and experience in handling complex cases, with responsibilities including developing staff support programs and conducting workshops on mental health. This managerial level position is non-shift and based in Yishun.

- Ability to conduct research and training in psychology.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients.
- Attend to medico-legal and forensic cases.
- Develop and deliver training or workshops on mental health.

Job Description
To lead and deliver psychological services in Khoo Teak Puat Hospital and YH campus
- To provide individual and / or group psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients cognitive behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation therapy, stress management).
- To provide psychometric assessments IQ, neuropsychological, dementia).
- To attend to complex inpatients or outpatients, as well as medico-legal and forensic cases.
- To handle direct referrals from other medical professionals, police and the courts.
- To assist in developing the hospital’s peer support program for staff and / or corporate clients and deliver talks and workshops on stress management and mental health.
- To lead and provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students and junior psychologists.
- Involvement in support groups weight management support group) and / or provide input for relevant hospital programmes.
- To conduct or be involved in research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
- To conduct teaching and training in psychology or related subjects to mental health or other professionals and / or psychology students.
- To undertake any special duties as assigned by CEO, CMB, COO, HOD and supervisor.
