What you’ll be responsible for
Strategy & Insight
- Lead the development of brand, communication and content strategies grounded in real business challenges.
- Stay closely attuned to culture — from social and behavioural shifts to emerging attitudes and lived human truths — and translate these into meaningful opportunities for brands.
- Generate insights through a mix of desk research, data analysis, social listening and collaboration with partners where needed.
- Work alongside creative teams to explore multiple strategic routes, stress-test them, and land on the strongest direction.
- Define the strategic lens that shapes creative expression, messaging and execution across channels.
Content & Integrated Planning
- Shape content approaches across platforms, including frameworks, messaging hierarchies, cadence and channel roles.
- Develop integrated communication plans that connect social, digital, experiential and offline touchpoints.
- Collaborate with creative and media partners to ensure work is cohesive, relevant and effective.
Client Leadership & Account Partnership
- Act as a senior strategic partner to clients, leading key conversations, presentations and workshops with confidence.
- Help steer the overall account narrative, ensuring strategic alignment across stakeholders.
- Work closely with account teams to ensure strategies are commercially sound, achievable, and aligned with agreed scope, timelines and budgets.
- Spot opportunities for account growth and contribute to new business and pitch efforts.
Effectiveness & Optimisation
- Partner with media agencies and client teams to review performance across brand and business metrics.
- Translate data into insight, identify learnings, and recommend optimisations to strengthen results over time.
Agency Contribution
- Raise the bar on strategic thinking across the agency through collaboration, mentorship and example.
- Support the development of client servicing team members and contribute to a strong, shared strategic culture.
- Be an active participant in shaping how strategy shows up at Wild Advertising.
What we’re looking for
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field such as journalism, behavioural or social sciences, psychology or research.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a creative, research or social agency environment (or a closely related role).
- Proven experience in strategic planning, insight development and research.
- Strong marketing fundamentals with the ability to analyse and synthesize complex information.
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative, thoughtful and comfortable working across disciplines.
- Curious by nature, self-driven, and motivated by making work that matters.
- A desire to keep learning, evolving and sharpening your point of view.
