To lead and deliver psychological services in Khoo Teak Puat Hospital and YH campus

Major Duties And Responsibilities

SPECIFIC (%)

• To provide individual and / or group psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients cognitive behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation therapy, stress management).
• To provide psychometric assessments IQ, neuropsychological, dementia).
• To attend to complex inpatients or outpatients, as well as medico-legal and forensic cases.
• To handle direct referrals from other medical professionals, police and the courts.
• To assist in developing the hospital’s peer support program for staff and / or corporate clients and deliver talks and workshops on stress management and mental health.
• To lead and provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students and junior psychologists.

GENERAL (%)

• Involvement in support groups weight management support group) and / or provide input for relevant hospital programmes.
• To conduct or be involved in research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
• To conduct teaching and training in psychology or related subjects to mental health or other professionals and / or psychology students.
• To undertake any special duties as assigned by CEO, CMB, COO, HOD and supervisor.
