Senior Systems Engineer (Backend System Engineers)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Install, test, and implement systems according to specifications and service level requirements, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
2. Manage system changes through an established change request process, including impact assessment, approvals, and stakeholder communication.
3. Conduct root cause analysis for system issues and implement measures to prevent recurrence, monitoring their effectiveness.
4. Develop and execute service continuity measures, including backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plans.
5. Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and project teams for system-related issues.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PSIM, CCTV, access control, alarm & intrusion systems, and network infrastructure (optional skill).
7. Configure and set up backend systems, including:

• Perform CIS hardening for Windows and Linux Servers.
• Configure Linux Servers: user accounts, SSH, password policies, server restoration with REAR.
• Perform basic computer and network maintenance.

Requirements:

1. Educational Qualification: Nitec/Higher Nitec/diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or IT from a recognized institution.
2. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
