Assistant Engineering Manager
Facilities engineers are responsible for engineering operations and direct vendors and subcontractors. They utilize advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance, corrective repair and efficiency upgrades of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, they monitor building system operations and performance. They utilize several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
This person will be actively responsible for management of Energy and Water usage across Singapore. The role will lead the Engineering team including vendor management and the self-performing technician workforce. From time to time, this role is also expected to support and provide leadership and best practice to other account disciplines such as Health & Safety, Security, and Projects.
The role will primarily be the focal point for all Engineering, Energy and Project related account issues working closely with the Subject Matter Expert network and the Country site leads to maximize the breadth of information produced across all the work‑streams to provide insightful information to support decision making.
