Job summary
A leading retail company in Thomson Plaza is seeking an Assistant Retail Executive. This role involves assisting customers with musical instruments and related products, providing information and sales support, and handling transactions. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in retail or sales, with knowledge of musical instruments as an advantage. The working schedule is 5 days a week, offering a salary range of $2500-$3000 plus commission.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess at least 1-2 years of retail or sales experience.
- Knowledge of musical instruments like guitars and drums is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable musical instruments and accessories.
- Provide product information and demonstrations.
- Support sales targets by promoting ongoing campaigns.
- Respond to customer inquiries via various channels.
- Handle customer feedback and concerns.
- Perform cashiering duties and process payments accurately.
- Manage documentation for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Ensure the retail area is clean and presentable.
Skills
Location: Thomson Plaza
Working days: 5 days (Mon - Sun)
Weekday: 11.45am to 9.15pm
Weekend: 8.45am to 6.15/7.15pm
Salary: $2500 - $3000 + Commission
- Assist customers in selecting suitable musical instruments, books, accessories, and related products.
- Provide product information, recommendations, and demonstrations to enhance the customer experience.
- Support sales targets by promoting ongoing campaigns and new arrivals.
- Respond to customer inquiries through telephone, email, online inquiry forms, and chat messages.
- Handle customer feedback, concerns, and basic after sales support.
- Perform cashiering duties, process payments accurately, and ensure proper end-of-day reconciliation.
- Manage all necessary documentation for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and presentable with updated product displays.
- Candidates must possess at least 1-2 years of retail or sales experience.
- Knowledge of musical instruments e.g. guitars, drums will be an added advantage
