A catering service provider in Singapore is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee catering operations and strategy. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in catering or event management and a degree in a related field. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, along with a positive sales attitude. This role involves managing client relationships, securing contracts, and handling catering budgets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in catering or related fields.
- Experience with catering e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of food and beverage services.
Responsabilités
- Manage catering budget and financial forecasts.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Oversee daily catering sales administration.
Connaissances
Formation
- Participate and be knowledgeable of catering budget, forecast, catering package and event financials (P&L)
- Lead generation, proactively following up with Marketing campaign.
- Secure yearly contracts for catering.
- Sales driven to develop strategy, action plan, promotion and campaign related to e-commerce catering platform or assigned industry and client accounts
- Versatile / willing to be involved in Venue
- Focus on revenue growth with existing and new accounts
- Exceed in client relationship, engagement and hospitality
- Possess product knowledge and experience in event and catering
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ needs and to be fully responsible and accountable to ensure smooth delivery of client and operational service / service recovery, respectively
- Work closely with service operations and culinary team to ensure completeness of all related admin and documentation (Event Orders, PO/DO, SOP, etc.)
- Oversee daily catering sales administration and associate/s, sales, business and operations meeting
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Candidate should ideally possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food & Beverage Services, Hotel, Tourism, Hospitality and / or Event Management
- Positive sales attitude, aptitude, strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent organization, administrative skills and with attention to detail
- Catering e-commerce platform and a flair for social media (IG, FB, TIKTOK) will be an advantage
- Good and reliable vendor / partner contacts for F&B catering will be a benefit
- Proficient in MS software (WORD, EXCEL, PPT) and comfortable working with e-commerce and Sales - CRM platforms, where applicable
