Job summary
A leading international bank in Singapore is offering a 4-month international assignment as part of its Graduate Program. This role is targeted at graduates who have been hired at their headquarters in Switzerland or other European offices. Responsibilities include working on projects to enhance engagement between the Singapore office and international locations, facilitating cultural understanding, and transferring knowledge. Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree and possess strong communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Above-average academic results in relevant fields.
- Internship experience in the financial industry is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with headquarter office.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure through working on projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and cultural understanding between Singapore and overseas offices.
Skills
Education
- A 4-month International Assignment in the Singapore office for Julius Baer graduates that have already been hired by Switzerland Headquarter office and other Julius Baer European offices and completed the first out of the two home-based assignments back in Zurich, Switzerland; London, United Kingdom or Luxembourg.
- It is part of the Group Global Graduate Program to be abroad and have a short overseas stint in an international location outside of their home location.
- To be attached to a Singapore business function unit to gain exposure through working on projects, initiatives and research and gain a good cultural understanding of Asia and Singapore working culture
- At the same time to facilitate knowledge transfer and increase engagement between the SG and overseas offices to collectively drive the innovation culture of the Bank
- Will return to Switzerland, London or Luxembourg for the final home-based job assignment at the end of the Singapore international assignment
- Masters or Bachelor degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Mathematics) with above-average academic results
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Access, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Internship experience in the financial industry
- Able to work effectively with HQ
- High interest in banking and financial markets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Responsive and client oriented
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
