Job summary
A leading provider of therapy services is seeking a passionate Behavior Therapist to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will conduct engaging home-based therapy sessions for children with special needs, develop individualized education plans, and collaborate with parents to create meaningful change. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in ABA Therapy or with children with Autism. Flexibility, creativity, and communication skills are essential for this rewarding role.

Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 home-based therapy sessions with children.
- Perform behavior assessments to tailor interventions.

- Implement creative strategies to meet children's unique needs.
- Write detailed session notes and progress reports.
- Collaborate closely with parents to provide updates.
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors.

- Experience : 2+ years working in ABA Therapy or with children with Autism, Global Developmental Delay, or other special needs.
- Qualifications : RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA credentials are a bonus! Don’t have them yet? No problem—we provide training.
- Understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of speech & language concepts, teaching occupational skills, and academic concepts.
- Creativity in preparing engaging, personalized learning materials and activities.
- Proficiency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children with special needs.
- A knack for creating a positive, motivating environment for learning and growth.
