A leading omni-channel retailer in Singapore seeks a Buyer to optimize inventory and enhance sales. The successful candidate will analyze trends, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely product availability. An ideal candidate has a university degree and at least 3 years in buying or sales support. Experience in FMCG or baby products is preferred. This role includes responsibility for both offline and online stores.
We are looking for a buyer to support the efficient and effective operations of our purchasing department at Motherswork.
Reporting to the head buyer, you will be responsible for the analysis of sales trends and inventory to forecast sales, with a view to optimizing the inventory assortment and availability to maximize sales. This individual will be accountable for ensuring that the stores (both offline and online) have the right product at the right time in the right quantities. You will regularly report and analyze the sales data through Excel tools and propose product orders, and process orders with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of the product to store. You will be given/support a portfolio of brands with accountability for attaining budgeted sales, gross margin and building market share consistent in meeting company’s growth.
