Job description

Our client is a natural stones and rattan specialist that showcases the innovative design of marble using various cutting-edge techniques such as bending marble. They are looking out for a Sales Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Possess good Construction customer base network, able to establish new customer base, and maintain existing relationships with customers.
  2. Preparation of proposals, tenders and quotations based on project requirements and close monitoring of project execution to optimize profitability and maximize customer satisfaction.
  3. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  4. Set up meetings with potential clients, managing and interpreting customer requirements.
  5. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  6. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  7. Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings and conduct regular market updates.
  8. Able to interact well with all levels of our customers' organization structure to ensure projects are being carried out on schedule.
  9. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  10. Generate sales forecasts, sales reports and performance plans for management review.
  11. Achieve Sales Target & Business Objectives.
  12. Co-ordinate projects to ensure smooth running of project deliveries and act as a point of contact with clients, consultants, architects and contractors.
  13. Liaise with sales, customers and vendors regarding all delivery issues (technical, logistical, etc).
  14. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  15. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma / Degree in Construction or Mechanical Engineering/ Marketing or its equivalent.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in building/construction industry.
  3. Able to communicate well in English and Chinese.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  5. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
  6. Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  8. Good documentation, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.
  10. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications or related software.
  12. Possess own vehicle would be an added advantage.
  13. Willing to travel to various job sites.

Additional Information:
Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm (Mon-Fri)
