Job Description:
1. Warehouse & Logistics Management
Manage daily warehouse operations and work closely with the Purchasing and Sales/Shipping teams to ensure shipments are on time and accurate.
Look for ways to improve warehouse efficiency, including better use of space, managing resources, and cutting costs.
2. Space & Resource Planning
Plan and organize warehouse space to make sure it’s being used optimally.
Ensure warehouse resources are allocated according to operational needs.
3. Housekeeping & Safety
Set rules and make sure the warehouse stays clean, organized, and safe for staff.
Maintain safety standards to improve space management and safety of workers.
4. Team Leadership
Lead and guide the warehouse team, making sure they follow best practices and meet expectations.
Provide training and support to the team as needed.
5. Working with Other Teams
Collaborate with the Purchasing and Sales/Shipping teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Assist in improving warehouse processes to meet the needs of the business.
6. Additional Responsibilities
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department head to support warehouse and logistics operations.
Job Requirements:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the trading or distribution industry.
Diploma or degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Distribution, or a related field
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Must be comfortable in a hands-on, leadership role.
More experienced candidates may be considered for senior positions with adjusted compensation based on expertise.
