Job summary
An IT services firm is seeking an experienced leader for their cloud services division based in Singapore. The role involves strategizing and managing the operations of IT infrastructure across the APAC region, with responsibilities including vendor management, cloud adoption, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, proficiency in AWS and Azure, and strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred. This position offers strong career progression opportunities.

- Lead the strategy, design, and operations of compute and cloud services across the APAC region within a hybrid environment (AWS, Azure, and Private Cloud)Ensure the cloud infrastructure meets global standards for availability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Drive cloud adoption initiatives, including cost optimization, automation, and operational efficiency improvements throughout APAC.
- Collaborate closely with global architecture teams to apply best practices and integrate emerging technologies.
- Oversee vendor management, including contract negotiations and SLA performance for all cloud and compute service providers.
- Manage endpoint operations for PCs, tablets, and mobile devices across APAC using platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and SSO solutions.
- Ensure secure, efficient, and compliant identity and access management for all end users.
- Lead initiatives to improve user experience, productivity, and end-to-end device lifecycle management.
- Implement modern workplace technologies and support digital transformation efforts within the region.
- Develop and enforce governance frameworks and compliance standards for endpoint security and data protection.
- Lead and mentor a regional infrastructure team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for both operational towers.
- Align regional initiatives with the global IT strategy while meeting local business requirements.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure service performance, user satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including at least 5 years in leadership positions.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and private cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Azure AD, Intune, and identity and access management solutions.
- Experience overseeing large‑scale, multi‑country IT operations across the APAC region.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Microsoft technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
