Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an entry-level professional for lab and biopharma testing. The role involves maintaining facility systems and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Candidates should have a degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology and preferably experience in an ISO17025 environment. The position offers up to $3.5k plus bonuses, with office hours located in the East.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in ISO17025 / GLP / GMP environment preferred.
- Understanding of installation of software and basic administrative controls in Windows.
- Execute Qualification and Validation for systems as per ISPE GAMP 5.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and repairs.
- Manage external vendors and safety documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and ISO 17025.

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all facility and equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
- Manage external vendors and contractors, including quotes, work permits, and safety documentation.
- Ensure all activities and documentation comply with GMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 regulations.
- Oversee critical building systems (e.g., HVAC, boilers, compressed air) and facility programs (e.g., waste management).
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and reports for equipment, utilities, and safety metrics.
- Conduct training and review procedures to ensure continuous compliance and improvement.
- Degree in Life Science or Biotechnology or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in an ISO17025 / GLP / GMP environment is preferred.
- Understanding of IT is expected, related to installation of software, interface of hardware and software and basic administrative controls of Windows (Such as adding user groups) is preferred.
- Understand concepts and rationale, and execute System Commissioning, Qualification and Validation for systems as per requirements stated in ISPE GAMP 5 and USP <1058> document is preferential.
