Inventory Control Coordinator – Legrand, North America

Position Overview

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator to join the Starline Team in Tuas, Singapore. The Inventory Coordinator will account for all inventory in the Singapore facility, run reports to ensure records and actual inventory align, and keep stock organized and accurate.

Main Job Duties
  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory and performs frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. Controls flow of material and supplies.
  • Speaks to investigations of material inaccuracies. Provides reports to management.
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory received and shipments made.
  • Identify slow‑moving, obsolete inventory.
  • Conducts regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules/direction from leadership.
  • Collaborate with other team members within inventory control/warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management practices.
  • Always adheres to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 2-3 years hands‑on experience in warehouse inventory management & cycle counting experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing, and outside vendors.
  • Exceptional organization skills, high attention to detail
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning, knowledge of math to manage stock keeping and keep calculations precise
  • Self‑driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups
  • Must be willing/able to be forklift certified/forklift refreshment course
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low
  • Must be available to work yearly physical inventory
  • Must be available to work overtime when needed
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs often.
  • Stockroom setting with material handling equipment in use and limited exposure to environmental conditions.
  • Regularly standing, walking, climbing ladders for prolonged periods of time.
  • Work with personal safety equipment such as safety harness, foot protection, safety glasses, and hearing protection when necessary.
