Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a BIM Coordinator to manage and produce high-quality BIM models and shop drawings. The ideal candidate will coordinate MEP services, ensure quality and timeliness of drawings, and collaborate across teams for project success. Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is essential.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

PLAN

• Prepare drawings (such as layouts, schematic, and single line).
• Review consultant’s design drawings and specification.
• Support PROJECT with technical deliverable using the proprietary software.
• Produce 2D and 3D drawings from contract drawings, specification, and design information through a computational interface.
• Produce REVIT®BIM models with REVIT® plugin families.

DO

• Create and maintain high quality BIM MODEL.
• Attend drawing co-ordination meeting (such as CAD and BIM).
• Co-ordinate all MEP services in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Navisworks® platform.
• Prepare shop/ installation drawings based on co-ordinated models.
• Technical management of project BIM Data sets.
• Prepare working drawings for site installation.
• Liaise and coordination and other trades for cross-team support on BIM support.
• Collaborate with team and other relevant departments to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements.
• Liaise with team to ensure changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams
• To manage and coordinate production of quality shop drawings and BIM model in all projects assigned under his responsibility with minimal supervision.
• Liaise and coordinate and other trades for cross-team support on BIM software.

CHECK

• Ensure drawings are prepared on time as per the required specifications and quality.
• Obtain client’s approval for all shop drawing submission.

ACT

• Prepare as-built drawings as per site installation for joint inspection with clients’ representatives until approval is obtained.
• Prepare and document Operation & Maintenance manuals drawing.
• Maintain and document all the project drawing continuously.
• Control of all drawing records.
