A leading Renewable Energy company in Singapore seeks a Senior Vice President of Projects to oversee the entire project lifecycle from development to operational management. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of experience in project development, particularly in Offshore Wind. This role offers significant career progression opportunities, including a pathway to the executive board within three years. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and fluency in English are essential.

A leading Renewable Energy company is growing, as the portfolio expands so does their ambition to achieve 20%+ year-on-year growth. As part of ongoing investment into focus markets their attention is on their Renewable Energy portfolio in the APAC region and are looking to secure a Senior Vice President of Projects to oversee the Development, Financing, Construction through to and including Operational Management of their Renewable Energy Projects.
As Senior Vice President of Projects, you will be responsible for leading the group’s Development, Financing, Construction through to Operational Management.
- Provide management and leadership to business unit and staff
- Hold P&L responsibility, drive successful results & growth of project developments and oversee EPC project execution
- Develop and implement 3-5 year strategy, build up the global organisation
- Develop relationships with Utilities, OEM suppliers and contractors for JV/ consortium partnerships and lead negotiations of agreements
- Report financial results to Global Management and sit on regional board Management team
- Progression to executive board in 3 years
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Law
- 3+ years’ experience in Project Development, Construction and Operation of Offshore Wind projects
- A strong ability to operate at all levels, right up to Board Level management
- A strong network of land owners, developers, brokers, and financial institutions
- A strong commercial knowledge risk management and contractual negotiations, PPA are advantageous
- Understand project financing
- Be able to solve complex problems, engage, lead, motivate and inspire teams to success
- Speaks English
