A leading investment company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Director - Commercial to oversee commercial contract administration and governance. This role will lead the management of various contracts with a focus on maximizing value through best practices and reporting transparency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial management, particularly within complex consultancy contracts, and strong stakeholder engagement abilities. The Director - Commercial will oversee the administration of Delivery Partner, Program Management Consultant (PMC), and Specialist/Subject Matter Expert contracts managed directly within the SDU. The role ensures that Qiddiya gains maximum value from these partnerships by establishing transparent commercial reporting, sharing best practices across Business Units, and providing visibility on key commercial matters. This role is not responsible for contractor administration within individual Business Units but supports them by providing expertise, benchmarks, and lessons learned from SDU-managed partnerships.
Bachelor’s or master’s in quantity surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
15–20 years in commercial management or contract administration, with significant experience in tendering and administering multiple complex and fast paced consultancy / delivery contracts would be an advantage, as would Middle East Experience.
Strong expertise in contract governance, PMC/DP administration, and claims; ability to synthesize and share best practices across multiple Business Units; excellent stakeholder engagement and executive reporting skills.
