Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager – Wet Utilities to lead and manage the delivery of wet utility infrastructure works within a large‑scale mixed‑use development project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water, wastewater, irrigation, and stormwater networks, with proven experience working for a construction supervision consultant in the Middle East.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in the Middle East (preferably KSA).
- Strong background in wet utilities infrastructure – potable water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and TSE networks.
- Prior experience working with a construction supervision consultant on mixed‑use or urban infrastructure development projects.
- In‑depth understanding of local authority standards (e.g., NWC, SWCC, RC, MOMRAH, and other KSA utility agencies).
- Proven ability to manage large‑scale utility projects from design review through construction and handover.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of wet utility infrastructure packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.
- Manage design review, construction supervision, and quality assurance activities for potable water, TSE, irrigation, and stormwater networks.
- Liaise with government authorities, utility providers, and stakeholders to secure necessary permits, NOCs, and approvals.
- Oversee project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure deliverables are achieved as per the agreed schedule.
- Provide leadership and technical direction to multidisciplinary teams of engineers and inspectors.
- Monitor contractors’ performance, review method statements, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, risk assessments, and progress updates to senior management and clients.
- Identify design and construction issues proactively and propose effective mitigation measures.
- Support tendering, technical evaluations, and contract management activities related to wet utilities.
