Service Sales Manager
The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the service sales process in collaboration with the ABB SEAM Regional Commercial and Operations team, with support from the Global Market Development team. The role involves generating service sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the Middle East region. The Sales Specialist focuses on achieving desired customer outcomes, including safety, reliability, and sustainability, and promotes the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units. The role also involves building long-term customer relationships and ensuring prompt responses to specific customer needs and issues. The candidate should be located in the Middle East to facilitate closer collaboration with our Operations team for the EMEA region. The incumbent will be required to travel up to 50% of the time within the EMEA region. . Develop a sales execution plan that aligns with the regional commercial plan. . Focus on desired customer outcomes, such as safety, reliability, and sustainability, to develop an opportunity pipeline of desirable and winnable business. . Collaborate with the Global Market Development team to translate customer desired outcomes into SEAM service solutions. . Capture the Voice of Customer (VOC) and communicate it back to Market Development teams for consideration. . Serve as the commercial focal point for current customers. . Utilize installed base data to identify and develop service sales and Life Cycle Management (LCM) opportunities. . Maintain good pipeline and CRM discipline to ensure Salesforce has accurate and relevant information for sales management and forecasting processes. . Support and provide input into regional marketing activities where applicable (campaigns, conferences, and customer-specific events). . Collaborate with Regional Commercial and Operations teams to drive the regional commercial plan. . Work with the Global Market Development team to develop solutions and identify customer and market opportunities. . Collaborate with the Global Account Management team, where applicable, to drive local strategies. . Adopt the One ABB approach to leverage and introduce other colleagues portfolios.
