Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Safety, to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing business needs and developing data-driven solutions to support the organization’s safety goals and objectives. • Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies to support safety objectives.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to track safety performance, uncover trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead data collection, storage, analysis, and quality control processes to ensure accurate and consistent safety metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
• Work closely with IT to define system requirements, develop and test new software/systems, and support end-user adoption.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to safety data management and reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of business analysis experience, preferably within Oil & Gas and Safety.
• Strong expertise in business analysis principles, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficient in data management including collection, storage, and analysis.
• Skilled in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certification such as CBAP or CMC preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based business analysis tools is a plus.

• Office-based role
• 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (2 days in office)
