Job Description

Overview:

For the past 50 years, we have been a trusted partner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Owner’s Engineering (OE), and Technical Advisory services. As part of our PMC and OE projects, we offer comprehensive Project Management (PM), Project Oversight (PO), and Project Management Office (PMO) services* to our clients.

What we are looking for:

As a PMO Director, you will drive the expansion of Fichtner’s stand-alone PMO services in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. You will advise clients on tailor-made PMO solutions, deploy and manage expert teams, and ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will establish internal structures, foster continuous improvement, and build a strong PMO organization through recruitment, training, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the growth and expansion of Fichtner’s PMO services in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

- Advise clients on customized PMO solutions, ensuring optimal project governance and execution.

- Deploy, oversee, and support project teams, ensuring smooth PMO operations.

- Establish and continuously *improve internal structures, processes, and training* programs for a robust PMO organization.

- Recruit and develop in-house talent while maintaining a strong partner network.

- Actively contribute to business development, identifying and securing new opportunities in the region.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job requirement:

- A proven team leader with a passion for building and leading organizations.

- Extensive experience in PMO leadership in Saudi Arabia, with a successful track record in the Energy and Water sectors.

- Well-connected within the industry, with a *strong professional network* in KSA.

- University degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field.

- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
