Purpose of Role

Teaching & Learning
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies and Accounting to students.
  • Ensure lesson plans align with Cambridge assessment objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Integrate real‑world business and financial examples to enhance student understanding.
  • Prepare students effectively for internal assessments, mock examinations, and Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
Assessment & Reporting
  • Design, administer, and mark assessments in accordance with Cambridge standards.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students to support academic progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
  • Prepare termly reports and participate in parent‑teacher conferences.
Curriculum & Professional Practice
  • Contribute to curriculum development, scheme of work planning, and resource creation.
  • Stay updated with Cambridge syllabus changes and examination requirements.
  • Participate in professional development activities, training, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching quality.
Student Support & Pastoral Care
  • Act as a form tutor if required, supporting students’ academic and personal development
