Purpose of Role
To deliver high‑quality teaching and learning in Business Studies and Accounting in line with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus, enabling students to achieve academic excellence while developing critical thinking, analytical, and real‑world business skills.

Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies and Accounting to students.
- Ensure lesson plans align with Cambridge assessment objectives and learning outcomes.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate real‑world business and financial examples to enhance student understanding.
- Prepare students effectively for internal assessments, mock examinations, and Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
Assessment & Reporting
- Design, administer, and mark assessments in accordance with Cambridge standards.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students to support academic progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Prepare termly reports and participate in parent‑teacher conferences.
Curriculum & Professional Practice
- Contribute to curriculum development, scheme of work planning, and resource creation.
- Stay updated with Cambridge syllabus changes and examination requirements.
- Participate in professional development activities, training, and workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching quality.
Student Support & Pastoral Care
- Act as a form tutor if required, supporting students’ academic and personal development
