Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Malaysia is looking for a project manager to oversee project execution and manage technical teams. The role requires ensuring compliance with legal regulations and maintaining profit and loss commitments. Candidates should have experience in managing EPC and design build projects. This is a pivotal role where effective cost control and schedule management are essential.

  • Be a focal point to clients.
  • Lead technical team and project team upon award of a contract.
  • Manage project execution and various stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
  • Accountable for managing contract execution.
  • Responsible for project profit and loss.
  • Attend various project-related meetings.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Be a focal point to clients.
  • Lead technical team and project team upon award of a contract to ensure proper project execution.
  • Manages EPC, Design, construction management and/ design build projects.
  • Manage and resolve project related issues with various stakeholders (System Owners, Area Owners, Tools Owners, Consultant & relevant authorities).
  • Ensure compliance to the relevant government application law, act, regulations, and company business ethical standard etc.
  • Plan, prepare project schedule and ensure project hands over on time.
  • Accountable for managing the overall execution of the contract.
  • Responsible for project profit and loss commitments through effective cost control, schedule management etc.
  • Attend meetings (Commercial Meeting, design meeting, technical meeting, internal meeting and site meeting etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to the government (DOSH) Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulation and comply to clean room protocol.
  • Any other ad hoc duties by immediate supervisor as required.
