Education:

High School diploma or GED

Diploma in kinesiology, sports/exercise science, or other related field preferred or

Equivalent Work/Life Experience.

Experience:

Two-year personal training experience preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

Current Certified Personal Trainer (Minimum of One Certification)

Current CPR/AED certification

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

Ability to build relationship with members

Excellent customer service and promotional skills; energetic, enthusiastic and motivational

Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner

Excellent interpersonal skills

Extensive knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design

Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, and potential injuries and ability to handle emergencies

Be able to demonstrate exercises and adjust machine weights, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment

Be able to confidently sell Personal Training Packages

Be an enthusiastic Learner

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to operate computer and office software, MS Word, Excel, and Anytime Fitness programs
