A growing retail chain is seeking an experienced VP of Supply Chain to join their team in the Johor region. With a strong focus on market leadership and continuous expansion, the company is looking for a dynamic VP of Supply Chain to drive operational excellence and strengthen their supply chain capabilities as they scale.

Job Description

• Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute overarching supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, optimizing processes for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience and performance.
• Logistics & Inventory Oversight: Lead inventory management to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing holding costs. Oversee warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery across locations.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage strategic supplier relationships to guarantee quality and reliability. Negotiate contracts and procurement terms to drive cost savings and ensure a stable supply of goods.
• Order Fulfilment & Demand Planning: Direct order fulfilment processes to ensure on-time deliveries. Lead demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and logistics improvements to minimize lead times and prevent stockouts.
• Cost Optimization & Technological Innovation: Analyze logistics cost structures and implement strategies to reduce operational expenses. Leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility and performance, driving efficiency across transportation and warehousing functions.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, including 3-5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Strategic Leadership: Expertise in strategic planning, problem-solving, and optimizing supply chain operations to drive business efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Proven track record in inventory management, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization to enhance operational performance.
• Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience coordinating across teams and driving alignment on key initiatives.
• Analytical & Tech Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and supply chain tools, with strong analytical skills to monitor KPIs and implement performance improvements.
