A leading manufacturing firm in Selangor seeks a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships. You will support strategic planning, ensure timely raw material flow, and lead a team in coordinating logistics. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with strong communication skills and familiarity with SAP. - Support the Section Head and Department Head with strategic purchasing plans and material planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of purchasing activities to keep raw materials flowing to the production line.
- Maintain great relationships with suppliers to secure on-time deliveries and keep optimal inventory levels.
- Participate in supplier development, audits, and performance reviews alongside department leaders.
- Lead and guide a team of purchasing staff in daily activities: purchasing, shipping, delivery follow-up, receiving, and issuing materials.
- Coordinate with departments like Sales & Distribution, Production, R&D, and Finance to align on inventory, spare parts, and manufacturing needs.
- Champion safety, health, environmental practices, and quality standards within the team.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent (minimum CGPA 3.0 or Second Class Upper).
- Excellent communication skills — both written and spoken.
- A resourceful, hands-on team player who can think fast and solve problems independently.
- Familiarity with SAP is a big plus!
