Job summary

A leading quantity surveying consultancy in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to perform accurate quantity take-offs and maintain project documentation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, proficiency in Chinese and English, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in measurement works, particularly for interior design and building projects. Candidates with Japanese language skills are preferred. This position involves liaisons with clients and vendors, especially in projects for the Japan market.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs and measurements for structural and architectural elements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and partners focused on Japan market projects.
  • Provide timely measurement and cost-related inputs to project teams.

Prepare, maintain, and update records, measurement sheets, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure measurement data accuracy and consistency in line with project and company standards

Liaise with clients, vendors, and partners, with a strong focus on Japan market projects

Support project teams by providing timely measurement and cost-related inputs

Requirements

Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines

Proficient in Chinese & English; Japanese language skills are a strong advantage

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience in a consultancy firm, with strong involvement in measurement works for interior design (ID) and/or building projects
