Job summary

A reputable beauty company in Selangor is searching for a Content Creator to manage their content calendar and produce engaging multimedia materials. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, with 1-3 years of experience, and be comfortable in front of a camera. This role is essential for coordinating marketing campaigns and ensuring content aligns with brand goals. The position is on-site from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, offering opportunities to innovate in content strategy.

Job description

Research content ideas and trends, write engaging scripts, and plan shoot schedules.

Own and manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all creative assets.

Create and design various multimedia materials aligned with brand identity and marketing direction.

Develop and present visual concepts with clear guidance on layout, typography, and design style.

Prepare final art using required design software and equipment.

Act as on-screen talent for media assets (e.g., livestreams, product demonstrations).

Execute livestreams and social content tailored to current consumer trends.

Conduct regular competitor and trend research to uncover content opportunities.

Continuously improve digital content SEO, readability, and discoverability.

Implement A/B testing strategies to refine messaging and boost performance.

Campaign Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate in-house marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launch content.

Work closely with the Affiliate and Creative teams to align content with broader campaign strategies.

Prepare and present weekly reports on content and campaign performance with insights and improvements.

Ensure all content delivers against marketing KPIs and brand goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with design, product, performance marketing, and partnerships teams to align messaging and visuals.

Support product launches and seasonal campaigns through compelling promotional strategies.

Share industry trends and best practices to inform ongoing content innovation.

Assist with other marketing and brand-building initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
  • Preferable 1-3 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or multimedia design. (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Comfortable being featured in front of the camera for content/livestreams.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive team player with a high sense of responsibility and creative flair.
  • Must be able to work on-site, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm.

Work location: Emhub, Kota Damansara.

  • Prior experience in the beauty, lifestyle, or consumer product industries.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, performance marketing, and content strategy.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth or startup environment.
