- Manage month-end close processes by delivering timely and accurate financial information to business teams.
- Analyze financial data and provide clear, insightful variance analysis and commentary to support management reporting.
- Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders to provide input, challenge assumptions, and deliver outputs during forecasting cycles.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to identify and communicate risks and opportunities throughout the forecasting process, contributing to strategic planning presentations.
- Support business decisions by providing expert financial insights, addressing ad hoc queries, and contributing to ongoing projects.
- Uphold corporate governance by ensuring compliance with financial reporting controls.
- Continuously identify and drive process improvements, focusing on standardization and simplification.
A successful Business Analyst - FP&A should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- A qualified finance professional (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or FP&A roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience in Power BI dashboard development is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial matters to non-finance stakeholders.
- A competitive salary ranging from MYR 86,400 to MYR 132,000.
