With safety, efficiency, and customer service as priorities, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the shipping of all orders. They analyze and develop logistics plans to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs. The role is integral to our Customer Experience, ensuring exceptional service throughout order processing and resolving any order flow issues effectively.

1. Plan and coordinate transportation of customer orders in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Utilize in-house software systems to complete daily logistical tasks.
3. Meet on-time shipping objectives while maintaining quality standards in accordance with Health and Safety, Collective Agreement, Quality, ISO 9001-2015, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement standards, and BRC policies.
4. Ensure efficient use of storage space and shipment of products.
5. Provide exceptional customer service during order processing, including load preparation and managing warehouse traffic.
6. Report and resolve order flow, shipping delays, and quality issues promptly, working closely with the Logistics Manager.
7. Collaborate with Production, Customer Experience, Quality, and Scheduling departments to ensure timely order completion and shipment.
8. Coordinate shipment consolidation to optimize trailer space and reduce costs.
9. Arrange daily transport of materials to/from Tayco and Woodlore from BRC.
10. Ensure all pickup orders are complete and communicated to customers.
11. Manage scanning and shipping of courier and carrier orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping.
12. Coordinate with Purchasing to maintain stock of courier boxes, paperwork, and shipping supplies.
13. Maintain respectful and effective working relationships within the team and across departments.
14. Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Logistics, Shipping, and Receiving, including administrative experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Experience with ERP, SAP, and/or WMS systems is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management, organizational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
