Job summary
An educational institution in Johor is seeking a Junior/Senior Executive in Accounting. The role involves preparing timely financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates must possess a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy and ideally have 1-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in accounting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare timely reports and a full set of accounts for management.
- Conduct GL reconciliations and statutory submissions.
- Check and process incoming funds, issue invoices and receipts.

Provide necessary account services, support and reporting to ensure that the books are kept in compliance with statutory and professional requirements and for management decision making.
Prepare timely reports and full set account required for management information
Month end activities-GL Reconciliation, Supplier statement reconciliation, Management Reports, SST, and other statutory submissions.
Accounts Receivable-Check and Process incoming funds, Issue invoices and receipts, Record Data, Bank in of Cash
Accounts Payable-Check and Process Payments, Prepare payment vouchers, issue Cheque, Record Data.
Coordinates activities with all departments, to ensure that the invoice is promptly provided to accounts and that the invoice has been appropriately checked and signed by the respective departments.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferable have handle full set account experience.
Fresh graduate are also welcome to apply.
