Job summary

A logistics solutions company based in Penang is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch processes. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Logistics and 3–7 years of experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role. Responsibilities include planning shipments, monitoring inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong leadership and communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Malay are preferred.

Job description

Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.

Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.

Ensure proper use of warehouse space and equipment.

Logistics Coordination

Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments.

Liaise with transport providers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.

Track delivery performance and resolve logistics issues promptly.

Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.

Provide training on safety, handling procedures, and system usage.

Conduct performance reviews and manage shift schedules.

Compliance & Safety

Enforce workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Maintain documentation for audits, customs, and quality assurance.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

3–7 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of inventory systems, ERP/WMS software, and shipping documentation.

Excellent communication skills (English, Mandarin, Malay preferred for supplier/customer engagement).

Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
