Job summary

A leading eyewear company in Puchong is seeking an Inventory Management Associate to oversee defective inventory processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring efficient operations. Ideal candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in logistics or inventory management, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. The role may involve lifting moderate weights and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Maintain accurate records of defective inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of defective inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
  2. Receiving and Processing: Receiving and processing incoming defective inventory from supplies & stores, verifying and maintaining records of shipments.
  3. Stock Management: Assisting with stocking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse and inventory areas for efficient storage and handling.
  4. Inventory Audits: Performing regular defective inventory audits to ensure accuracy of records.
  5. Data Entry: Entering data into inventory systems and updating records.
  6. Inventory Tracking: Tracking and monitoring defective inventory levels using inventory management software.
  7. Coordination: Coordinating with other departments, such as purchasing, shipping, and receiving, to ensure smooth inventory operations.
  8. Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in defective inventory procedures and/or product.
  9. Physical Count: Assisting in physical counts of defective inventory and reconciling actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  10. Other Duties: May be asked to perform other duties as needed, such as assisting with customer inquiries or processing returns.
Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
