About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Culinary Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Waiter/ress is responsible for greeting and serving our guests, providing detailed information on menus, multi‑tasking various front‑of‑the‑house duties in a fast‑paced environment. The Waiter/ress reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Waiter/ress, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Help to ensure the hotel’s high standards.
  • To be able to make menu suggestions to guests.
  • Attend all training sessions and courses, briefings and meetings as required.
  • Make a significant and continuous effort to increase your professional knowledge to achieve the goals and objectives of the hotel and department.
  • Actively support the hotel’s team culture, and help to achieve the hotel’s Vision, Mission, goals, and values.
  • Show a positive, energetic, and caring attitude always towards guests and fellow colleagues.
As Waiter/ress, we expect from you:
