Job Description

In this role, you will lead a team of mortgage sales representatives in achieving their individual and collective goals by implementing effective strategies and managing resources efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of your team through mentorship, training, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve team objectives, aligning them with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead and manage a team of mortgage sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor insights to identify areas for improvement and innovation within the mortgage sales process.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for measuring team performance and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments, such as underwriting, operations, and product development, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes, ensuring compliance and adherence within the team.
  • Monitor team expenses and allocate resources effectively to optimize efficiency and achieve cost savings.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading a team in a fast-paced mortgage sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including mortgages and home loans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of driving team performance and achieving targets.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret market trends and insights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
