Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at UDA Facility Management as a Technician - Mechanical & Electrical. In this contract role, you will be responsible for providing essential maintenance and repair services for a range of mechanical and electrical systems across our facilities in Melaka.

What you'll be doing

• Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, lighting, electrical wiring, and other building systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, implementing repairs, and ensuring optimal performance of equipment
• Documenting maintenance activities and following safety protocols
• Working collaboratively with the facilities management team to ensure a well-functioning, safe, and efficient work environment
• Providing hands-on technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

• Relevant technical qualification or trade certification in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Proven experience as a technician or maintenance specialist, preferably in a similar facility management or commercial setting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a range of mechanical and electrical issues
• Familiarity with building management systems, HVAC equipment, and other facility infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
