Job description

As a Supply Chain Executive at Pure Mylk Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's supply chain operations. This full‑time position is based in Pulau Indah, Pelabuhan Klang Selangor, and involves overseeing the procurement, inventory, and logistics functions to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our plant‑based dairy products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement tasks including sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase order (PO) issuance, and supplier follow-up.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics activities such as import/export documentation, freight arrangements, customs clearance, and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain and update supplier records, monitor vendor performance, and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Track purchase orders and shipments to align with production schedules and inventory needs.
• Liaise closely with Production, QA, Warehouse, and Finance departments to ensure smooth supply chain flow and problem resolution.
• Assist in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, and digital systems to enhance efficiency.
• Monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes to recommend supply chain strategies
• Supporting the development and implementation of new supply chain initiatives
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Min Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics—preferably in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and Incoterms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Able to work independently with a sense of urgency and accountability.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities to identify and address supply chain challenges
• Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
