A construction materials company in Ipoh seeks a Storekeeper responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, be proficient in both English and Malay, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities include verifying the quality of items received and updating stock databases. This role is essential to ensure an efficient inventory system.
Receive, inspect and record incoming building materials, verify quantities and quality of items received and ensure they match purchase orders or delivery documents.
Arrange and maintain inventory in an orderly manner, ensuring proper labeling, categorization and storage to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
Update stock databases, stock cards and other documentation to reflect stock movements and transactions.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment within the store area.
Have at least 2-3 years working experience in storekeeping or inventory.
Able to speak and write in English and Malay and computer literate.
