Job summary

A healthcare institution in Malaysia is seeking a Sonographer to provide accurate and timely ultrasound services. The ideal candidate will perform ultrasound examinations, produce high-quality images, and liaise with medical professionals. Candidates should possess a recognized Degree/Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonography and excellent interpersonal skills. This role is integral in delivering efficient healthcare services in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Degree/Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonography required.
  • Participation in educational programmes or relevant clinical experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with Radiology Services policies.
  • Review patient's medical chart before appointment.
  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images in various services.
  • Liaise with Radiologists and other clinicians on ultrasound scan outcomes.
  • Work dynamically among team members for efficient service.

  • Responsible for providing patients with accurate, efficient, and timely ultrasound services, as well as ensuring they are readily available to radiologists, vascular surgeons, or clinicians at all times.
Job Summary

Provide patients with accurate, efficient, and timely ultrasound services, ensuring they are readily available to radiologists, vascular surgeons, or clinicians at all times.

Job Responsibility
  • Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable to the Radiology Services.
  • Review the patient's medical chart prior to their appointment and have a clear understanding of the images required.
  • Perform and produce high‑quality ultrasound images in various services including radiology, vascular studies, muscular studies, obstetrics, and gynaecology.
  • liaise with Radiologists/other clinicians on the outcome of the ultrasound scan.
  • Work dynamically among team members to ensure efficient service is delivered.
Job Requirements
  • Possess recognised Degree/Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonography.
  • Participation in in‑service and other educational programmes, or relevant clinical experience in a healthcare institution is an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work at Petaling Jaya.
