Job summary

A technology company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced software tester to oversee function and performance testing of transaction payment and CRM systems. Responsibilities include analyzing testing requirements, implementing performance test plans, and ensuring product quality. Candidates should have over 3 years of relevant experience, a degree in a computer-related field, and familiarity with both SQL databases and JIRA. Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin are advantageous.

Job description

Responsible for the function and performance testing and acceptance of transaction payment and CRM system applications and back‑end subsystems.

Analyze and sort out software performance testing requirements, formulate performance test plans and implement them, and develop relevant testing tools as needed.

Promote and monitor the implementation of the entire project process, assess project risks, promote problem solving, and ensure product quality.

Develop or introduce new methods and tools to improve testing efficiency and build a good testing framework.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in software testing and development, bachelor's degree or above in computer-related majors (inter‑major).
• Proficient in mainstream development and testing technology in the industry, familiar with software testing process and methodology like STLC.
• Familiar with JIRA reporting, database read and write operations, familiar with SQL statements, and have used any kind of database such as SQL Server and MySQL.
• Exposure working with Salesforce would be added advantage.
• Be able to independently complete the construction and deployment of automated test platforms.
• Have good bilingual communication skills like English & Mandarin for SEA region stakeholders would be added advantages, strong requirements analysis skills and test case design skills.
