About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Digital Products team, working directly under the guidance of the Team Lead. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in building high-performance, scalable web applications, particularly in the HR solutions domain. The role responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining web applications and windows services using the .NET stack, DevExpress UI components, and MSSQL. You will collaborate with the tech team to design and implement HR-specific software solutions and ensure their seamless integration into our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure timely release of assigned product/project deliverables and of high-quality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and windows services using ASP.NET MVC (with Razor Views), DevExpress UI components and other .NET technologies.
  • Work on MSSQL-based reports, creating stored procedures, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead and other engineers to learn and implement software architecture, project scope, and milestones.
  • Contribute to the development of HR solutions by writing code, debugging, and testing.
  • Write clean, efficient code following team best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of code.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues in both the development and production environments.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in .NET development, HR software solutions, and DevExpress UI components.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Some experience in .NET development, especially with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms.
  • Exposure to DevExpress UI Components or similar tools to help build interactive user interfaces is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of MSSQL, including writing simple SQL queries and creating basic stored procedures.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or TFS is a plus.
  • Understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and coding best practices.
  • Exposure to Typescript and Angular for front-end development is a bonus.
Domain Knowledge
  • Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or any related field.
  • Some experience or familiarity with HR, Payroll, or Time Management systems is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira, Jira Product Discovery and Confluence is a plus.
Other Attributes
  • Eager to learn, self-motivated, and a problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
