Snr Sales Executive/ Assistant Sales Manager (Based in Shah Alam OR Johor Bahru)

The role may be based at the Shah Alam HQ office with required travel to Johor Bahru OR be permanently based at the Johor Bahru office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Retail Sales in analyzing and developing strategic business plans that align with the company’s overall direction and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan and implement marketing initiatives, including trade fairs and exhibitions, to enhance brand visibility.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales Admin, Finance, and After-Sales Service departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer requirements.
- Engage directly with dealers to understand their current and future needs, and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet both expressed and underlying demands.
- Strategically identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing dealers.
- Manage the sales process from inquiry to delivery, ensuring effective communication and coordination across relevant internal departments.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities, product launches, and industry developments.
- Conduct regular reviews of sales performance, monitor market trends and business risks, and propose practical strategies for growth.
- Responsible for ensuring timely collection of payments – all receivables must be collected within the stipulated credit terms.
- Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by the management team.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role. Experience in the dealer market is preferred.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in other dialects is an added advantage.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities with excellent follow-up skills.
- A pleasant personality with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
