• Experience in system & sub-system design
• Proficiency in CAD software, technical drawing, and mechanical design
• Experience with thermal and structural analysis, and FEA simulations
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Experience in project management and team leadership
• Experience in documentation e.g. Risk Assessment and FMEA
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to guide junior engineers
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
• Creating technical drawings and specifications, conducting simulations and analyses, test and improve of prototype.
• Create/ update of QMS documents.
• Overseeing manufacturing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
• Troubleshoot variance/ issue of mechanical system/ component.
