A hospitality management company in Selangor is seeking an IT Manager to oversee daily IT operations and ensure the smooth functioning of hotel systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT and at least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. The role includes managing the IT budget and supporting technical issues across all departments.
Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring all hotel systems (PMS, POS, PBX, CCTV, Wi-Fi, IPTV) operate efficiently with minimal downtime;
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, backups, cybersecurity, and system stability;
Provide timely technical support and troubleshoot issues across all departments;
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and safeguard all guest and employee data;
Lead system upgrades, software updates, and resort technology projects;
Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective procurement;
Set up PCs/laptops, access rights, email accounts, and required software for all new employees during onboarding;
Liaise with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery;
Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, SOPs, and user access control records;
Be part of a team that leads system implementation for production, testing, development and disaster recovery;
Lead, coach, and support IT team members to enhance departmental performance;
Any other duties or ad hoc tasks assigned by the Management.
