Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA).
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within construction, engineering, property development or related industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, financial reporting, tax and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Accounting Standards.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and long-term business planning process, providing key insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Oversee statutory compliance, tax obligations and audit coordination.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against targets.

Senior Finance Manager

Role Overview

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be a key leader in the finance function, responsible for driving financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic decision support across the company's business units. This role reports directly to the director and works closely with senior management to ensure robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and proactive financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and long-term business planning process, providing key insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Oversee statutory compliance, tax obligations and audit coordination to uphold governance and control standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against targets; identify business risks and opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements enhancing financial controls, reporting efficiency and system capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA).
