Responsibilities

• Ensure PCSB operations and services comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and within the specified timelines.
• Monitor and report on the quality of telecommunications services to ensure adherence to prescribed standards.
• Act as the liaison between the company and relevant regulatory bodies – such as the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, the Department of Personal Data Protection, the Malaysian Competition Commission, Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia – by handling inquiries, providing information, participating in consultations, and addressing legal matters.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses and/or certificates of registration, including the prompt payment of applicable annual fees before expiration.
• Facilitate effective coordination and communication between PR1MA Corporation Malaysia Group and PCSB to ensure alignment with corporate management strategies.
• Oversee the governance framework, acting as the Risk Custodian for the company’s anti-corruption management plan, including the lawful and proper execution of legal agreements.
• Stay updated on the latest regulations, guidelines, and policies related to the telecommunications industry in Malaysia.
• Provide input and feedback on proposed regulatory changes, ensuring the company’s perspectives are considered in the formulation of new policies.
